A Neighbour First
I am the guy stuck in the same traffic as you, checking the time, hoping I make it before the gate closes. I drive over the same potholes on my way home. I queue at the same shops, wait for the same matatus, and think about the same things you think about at the end of the month.
I have lived here for over twenty years, not as a visitor passing through, but as someone raising a family, building a life, and dealing with the same everyday realities as everyone around me.
That is simply where I already am, every single day.
I am living inside this community, same as you, not observing it from a distance.

A Community That Works
So much of daily life comes down to the unglamorous things done consistently: drainage cleared before the rains, streetlights that work, garbage collected on schedule, and planning that respects how people actually live and move through their neighbourhoods.
I believe in pressing for well-maintained infrastructure everywhere, street by street. I believe in supporting clean, safe public spaces that families can actually use, and backing planning decisions that ease everyday friction like traffic and flooding.
This is the steady, practical work that keeps a community running well, election after election.
A community that works is built from unglamorous things, done on time, every time.

Youth Opportunity
I built my career in technology, often from very little. I know first hand what it takes for a young person to go from an idea to something real: skills, mentorship, and someone willing to open a door. I want young people here to have that, right where they already are.
In practice that has meant practical skills and mentorship sessions grounded in what has actually worked in my own career, encouraging small entrepreneurship among young people here, and connecting young talent to real opportunities rather than one-off workshops with no follow-through.
This is work I was already doing before I ever thought about running for anything. I intend to keep doing it regardless.
